Control systems in Grimvalor are well-adapted to touchscreens. On the left of your screen, you'll find there are buttons for moving around and on the right side there are buttons for jumping, dodging and attacking. If you tap and swipe the attack button, you'll dodge at precisely the right moment to unleash special hits. Likewise if you tap on the dodge button at precisely the right moment when your enemy attacks you, you'll be invincible for a few seconds -- just like in Bayonetta.
This version of Grimvalor lets you play the first episode of the story for free. As you play each episode (lasting about 2-3 hours) you can face off against tons of enemies, including a number of bosses. You'll also find several different weapons and different armor to try out as you customize your character and improve their attributes.
Grimvalor is an excellent combination of role playing, action and standard platformer gameplay. It has a very similar feel to it as titles like Castlevania and is perfectly adapted to Android smartphones and tablets. Plus its graphics are outstanding and the character design is absolutely amazing.
